Charlie Jenkins Ch7- Chapter Seven -
Montague cursed loudly and threw a lamp at the closest guard. It hit him flatly in the face and smashed. The guard tottered and collapsed, unconscious. The three guards advanced aggressively and in seconds, Montague had been knocked unconscious by the hilt of a man's sword. Two turned on Charlie and he dived sideways to avoid a swipe from a silver sword. Charlie landed on his back along the couch. He kicked out and sent the guard crashing into the desk. Charlie Jenkins Prologue- Prologue -
Heather bounded forward, the sound of horse hooves thumping in her ears. She was an experienced rider and had no discomfort as the company galloped along at high speeds. The dirt road they travelled along sent dust flying in an odd trail behind them. Heather gripped the reins tightly and sped them further, though she was reluctant to arrive at her destination. She sighed as she rode; she would not return home for a long time. Norden was now her home, whether she liked it or not.

Charlie Jenkins Ch6- Chapter Six -
Two days past with hardly food or water. Charlie was pleasantly surprised by the Duchess's amount of knowledge of the forest. She collected mushrooms - able to tell which were poisonous and which were safe - and soon found a faded trail that she advised they follow. The floor was covered in greens and was unevenly misshapen, casting hills and holes along the path. Rain gathered in some trenches and they eagerly drank as much as they could, for the never knew when they would next pass another rainwater pond.

Hey guys!

Is it just me or.... ARE YOU EXCITED FOR CHRISTMAS?
Last year we were poor so had hardly any presents but this year we have lots and lots and lots to make up for it! Seriously, we have an enormous Christmas tree but there is no more room underneath it. It's friggin crazy! Though about 1/3 of the presents are going towards my 7 month old nephew, Logan. He's such a lucky bugger! He'll probably like the wrapping paper better than the toys!

Anyway, sorry I haven't had time to finish writing Chapter 8 but I'll get on it as soon as I finish this journal entry. Never fear, it will soon be here!

Wishing you all a merry Chrismtas, a happy new year and sweeeet a holiday!

I'm curious to know what present you're looking forward to the most. As for me, It's either Guitar Hero 5 or the many books that are piled under that tree! (I know, it's nerdy. But hey, I'm a writer! What else can I say?)
